Have been making a few more squares for my crochet diploma which I’ll share before sending off. Made a couple of bespoke items too. Now making a start on my postbox topper for the October Exmouth Mail Trail for Hospicecare 😊 #hospicecare

Been a bit of a busy period with bespoke orders including these 5 bears 🐻

Going to get back to my crochet diploma now and perfect the US treble square…

I’ve been busy making more paw prints after advertising my competition on Facebook 🐾🐾

I finally got my first 5 submissions returned for my crochet diploma. I was happy to only get 1x ‘Re-do’ (I did think it wasn’tgood enough, so no shocker), 2x ‘Fine’, 1x ‘Excellent’ and 1x ‘Very Good Indeed’ which had 1 point knocked off for a smaller hook!

The biggest thing is that these were comments from Pauline Turner, author and head of the crochet diploma!! She hardly ever takes on Part 1 students, so felt very privileged to have those responses and become her student 😀❤

It’s been a few days not posting, but it’s deceiving how long these paw prints take to make, mainly sewing ends…which I love…NOT!!!

Great that they’re double sided too and obviously I had to do my rainbow colours 😉🌈

So, after completion this evening, I thought why not have a competition! First time ever, so I must get the wording right 😊🤞

So here is what I was playing with yesterday. Quite happy how they are turning out 🐾🐾

Happy Easter everyone. Been nice to have some time off. I finally packaged up my submissions ready for posting tomorrow.

I’ve been looking on Etsy for inspiration with patterns. Finally decided. Can you guess what it’s going to be? And yes, that is marzipan! We got a free block and so we thought we’d have a treat as I haven’t eaten an Easter egg yet 😉🐰

I decided to make my submission filet piece more of a square which was requested in the notes. I added 4 rows of spaces each horizontal end and ss along the edge to make it straighter and neater. Not sure whether to sew in the ends at the beginning of the 4 rows each side…

Will hopefully send off my first 5/6 submissions tomorrow.

Very busy day taking video and photos of my new stock. Getting used to my new rotating stand, though it isn’t too smooth when adding my videoing as well.

Excited as I may go live today 😲🤞

Thought I would start this cute little bunny tail bunting. Tails missing at the moment. Not sure how many to make…maybe twelve?
